Education is the channel which God uses to bring His people to a clearer understanding of life.

Life without God is empty, but a life that possesses God is limitless and eternal. That’s why Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that more abundantly.”

When the Lord introduced His form of education to Moses and Israel (Deuteronomy 6:1-2), He broke it into three separate parts.

First, the children were to learn the commandments: those things which God wanted them to do. This was an act of faith, to stimulate children to do what God wanted them to do, without hesitation. Jesus said, “If you love me, you’ll keep my commandments.”

Second, we teach statutes or truths. Children need to know what is truth, and what is not. Great truths in math and science must coincide with the eternal truths, such as, “Thy Word is truth….” And “Let God be true, and every man a liar.”

Third, judgments are to be taught to children. This generation cries out for some type of moral clarification. Secular Humanism gives no moral judgment. A system that refrains from the Biblical judgments or morality does not fulfill its educational goal.

Life Academy is dedicated to a full education for all children, including the commandments of faith, the statutes of truth, and the judgments of God.

The objective in building a private Christian school is to obey the Scriptural imperatives of Deuteronomy 6:5-7 to

“…love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and will all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children….”

And of Proverbs 22:6 to

“train up a child in THE way he SHOULD go….”

Teaching is training. Training for life must include training for eternity.

A Christian school is an extension of the Christian home in training young people in a Christian environment for time and eternity. The school staff works closely with parents to train the whole child. We intend not only to love your children, but also to discipline them should the need arise. We need the full cooperation and support of parents as we attempt together to produce Christ-like character in our youth.

Attendance at Life Academy is a privilege and not a right. The goal of Life Academy is not to reform, but to train Christian youth of every ability in the highest principles of Christian leadership, self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship.

Life Academy stands without apology for the old-time Gospel and the highest standards of morality and Christian behavior. We intend to support the Bible as the Holy Word of God in all of our teachings. We will endeavor to present to you the basic concepts of life on the foundation of Scriptural truth.
